A few years ago Alexis was going through a tough time and was very depressed. He was struggling with his homosexuality due to his Greek Orthodox upbringing, and was very confused about who he was. Despite being in a 13 year relationship with a woman he knew he wasn’t happy and had spent years trying to hide his sexuality from his friends and family, this had pushed him so far into depression he was close to suicide.
One day Alexis went in to a charity shop and was browsing the books when one flew off the shelf and hit him on the head. This book was called ‘May the angels be with you’ by Gary Quinn. Alexis decided to buy the book and after reading through it he was brought to tears – everything made sense. Reading this book truly turned his life around and it was the beginning of a new him. It gave him the courage to accept who he was and to come to terms with his sexuality.
As a result of this experience Alexis is now a firm believer in angels. He even holds a weekly group on the laws of attraction, angels and metaphysics. He has been in a very happy relationship with his boyfriend Svein for 2 ½ years and together they formed a band ‘Powerlight’ and sing uplifting and spiritual songs.
